About the Role

Areyou a Security Guard looking to step off the floor and into a fast-paced,technology-driven environment? We are seeking an entry-level SecurityControl Room Assistant to join our team. This is a fantasticopportunity to transition from physical guarding into a strategic operationalrole.

Noprior Control Room experience is required, but you must have a strong securitybackground and a passion for technology. You will be the “eyes and ears” of ouroperation, utilizing state-of-the-art software to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·       OB(Observation) Management: Proactively monitor CCTV feeds and alarmsystems to identify and report security risks or suspicious behavior.

·       IncidentManagement: Act as the first point of contact forincoming reports. Accurately log incidents into our digital system and escalatethem to the relevant authorities or management.

·       Deployment: Coordinateand dispatch security personnel to specific locations in response to alerts oroperational requirements. Manage shift schedules and resource allocation viadigital platforms.

·       TechnologyUtilization: Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD)systems, smartphones, and communication apps to maintain contact with fieldteams.

·       Reporting: Generateaccurate daily occurrence logs and detailed incident reports.

Requirements

Requirements

·         Education: At least a school certificateholder (KCSE or equivalent).

·         Experience: Minimum of 2 years ofexperience as a Security Guard or in a similar security role.

·         Tech-Savvy: Confident in using computers& smartphones. You must be able to pick up new software quickly.

·         System Knowledge: Familiarity with orunderstanding of OB Management, Incident Management, and Deployment protocols.

·         Communication: Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.

·         Attention to Detail: Abilityto stay focused during long periods of monitoring and accurately record data.

·         Availability: Willingness to work shifts,including nights and weekends.

ServingPrivate Security Officers (Guards) are encouraged to apply.

Desirable (but not essential)

·         Valid Security Officer Certification

·         Fire Fighting Certification

·         First Aid certification.

·         Experience using CCTV or alarm monitoring software.

·         Be ready to START IMMEDIATELY
